Terms of Service
Effective date: August 11, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Freeware.pk at https://freeware.pk/. By accessing the site, creating an account, submitting software, or downloading a file, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Freeware.pk provides a moderated directory of software information and download sources. Listings may be supplied by publishers or gathered from publicly available information. Moderation reduces risk but is not a guarantee that any software is safe, accurate, suitable, continuously available, or free from defects.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials and recovery methods, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. We may require verification, multi-factor authentication, or additional evidence of publisher authorization.
Publisher submissions
By submitting content or software, you represent that you are authorized to do so; that the submission and its distribution do not violate intellectual-property, privacy, contractual, export-control, or other rights or laws; and that all descriptions, ownership claims, versions, licenses, and download sources are accurate.
You retain ownership of your submission. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, scan, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and promote the submission as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and market the service. You may request removal, but backup, security, legal, and historical records may persist where reasonably necessary.
Prohibited conduct and content
- Malware, spyware, ransomware, destructive code, credential theft, unauthorized cryptomining, or intentionally deceptive software.
- Pirated, cracked, stolen, infringing, unlawfully redistributed, or license-violating content.
- False publisher identities, manipulated download information, misleading claims, hidden payloads, or attempts to bypass review and security controls.
- Automated abuse, unauthorized access, denial-of-service activity, scraping that disrupts the service, or interference with security systems.
- Content or activity that violates applicable law or the rights and safety of others.
Review and enforcement
We may scan, test, reject, edit, label, suspend, disable, or remove any account, listing, file, or link at our discretion, including after publication. We may preserve and disclose relevant records when investigating security incidents, rights complaints, fraud, or legal requests.
Downloads and third-party software
Software is licensed by its respective owner, not by Freeware.pk, unless expressly stated otherwise. Review the applicable software license and system requirements before use. Maintain backups, use current security software, verify available checksums or signatures, and do not run untrusted files with elevated privileges. External websites and mirrors are governed by their own terms and practices.
Intellectual property complaints
If you believe a listing or file infringes your rights, send a notice using the contact information published on the site. Include your identity and authority, the protected work, the specific material and URL, your contact details, and a good-faith statement supporting the request. We may forward the notice to the submitting publisher.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, security, or uninterrupted availability. You use the service and download software at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Freeware.pk and its operators, personnel, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits or data, device damage, business interruption, or harm arising from third-party software, links, or conduct.
Termination, changes, and general terms
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms or protect the service and its users. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Applicable mandatory law and the jurisdiction of the site operator govern these Terms.
